Great lid, very nice and really sturdy. I step on it to climb onto my bed and it doesn’t move. I don’t regret this purchase at all.

Thanks Alex! Your set-up looks great!

I was super stoked to add this seat cover until it split during installation. It’s not super noticeable but if you decide to purchase this add on, I would highly recommend sanding it like the other person says. Good way to spruce up the all white look but a little upsetting that this issue was addressed and not corrected.

Hi Jonathan, thank you for your review! I'm sorry to hear the lid split during the installation. I have contacted you seperately about this issue. The spacers on the lid can sometimes be too large and they are there to adjust for small discrepancies in the natural bamboo.

Tried to fit it and I had to sand down each corner to allow for the insert. Even then it was a tight fit.

The bamboo cover is a thing of beauty and functional as a spare seat.

Thank you!

Beautiful lid!
First one arrived with shipping damage, but not their fault.

I had 2 delivered to me. Each of them had 2 cracks running from front to back. Rather than get a 3rd to replace the cracked ones, I opted for a refund.

Review dated 28/12/25. This bamboo seat cover split down the middle as soon as I tried it for fit. There was plenty of clearance, and I took reasonable care not to drop or bend it - it should not have failed. Compocloset sent me a replacement and I could tell even before I took off the plastic wrap that it was broken along the side. I decided to try to glue the side back on. Looks awful with glue all over it, but at least it seems to be holding together. Then I tried to attach the seat cover to the toilet. The included gaskets do not fit. The instructions say to trim them with a razor blade tool. ?!?!?! They don't sell sized gaskets in Europe? I have to sculpt my own out of a tiny piece of rubber? I get out my cut-resistant gloves to keep from slicing myself open. It takes 45 minutes of trimming to clear the top of the gasket of rubber. Finally, it's time to install. No, wait, it's not. The instructions now indicate that you must drill a hole in the gasket for the screw. Make sure you center the hole so the screw goes in straight. WTH!?!?! Dumped the cover, gaskets, and screws in the trash.

Save yourself a lot of time, trouble, and aggravation. Avoid this product!!!!

We're sorry to hear the issues you've experience with the Bamboo Lid. The spacers on the lid can sometimes be too large and they are there to adjust for small discrepancies in the natural bamboo. We’ve also reached out to you directly about the damaged replacement seat cover and are working to resolve this for you.

Has a nick in it on underside so I didn't bother requesting replacement. Was a bit harder to attach even though I followed instructions and watched video beforehand. The screws were so long they wouldn't go in by hand. I finally used shorter screws and power driver very slowly to get started. Replaced shorter screws with original ones that came and got it secured properly. Fits well, I feel it is a valuable investment and it looks great.
