S1 User Manual

Which S1 is right for you?

Go battery-free if the toilet has a permanent home in your build and you have a 12V house system to wire it into.

Go with the battery-powered S1 if you want to move it around, don't have a 12V system, or would rather not wire anything. You get up to 20 seals per charge, and you can top it up on the road with the included 12V Vehicle Charging Kit or optional wall adapter.

Super Simple

Four steps easy steps.

1. Sit & go normall

Urine diverts automatically into the sealed bottle. Solids drop into the extra-large drop zone onto the bag cartridge.

2. Tap to seal

A single press triggers the battery-powered heat sealer. Waste is wrapped, sealed, and out of sight β€” in seconds.

3. Empty urine when LED lights

The LED indicator tells you when the 1.7-gallon bottle is full. Opaque bottle β€” discreet to carry and empty.

4. Swap Liner as needed

One liner roll = ~25 flushes. When empty, drop in a fresh one.

Backup mode: If you ever run out of liners, the S1 keeps working β€” it simply operates as a standard urine-diverting toilet until you get more. No being stranded. No chemical additives. Ever.

Common Questions

Straight answers only.

  • Traditional dry-flush toilets bag every single use β€” liquid and solid together. You burn through expensive proprietary refills fast, and you're effectively paying to seal urine in plastic.

The S1 diverts liquid into a separate 1.7-gallon bottle and only seals solids. That's up to 80% less bag use, dramatically lower running costs, and far less plastic waste. It's the first dry-flush toilet with urine diversion built in.

  • Each liner roll gives ~25 uses. For 2 people with regular use, that's roughly every 1–2 weeks. Swap takes under a minute β€” no tools, no mess. Refills are available on CompoCloset.com and Amazon Prime.

  • The urine bottle holds 1.7 gallons. For two people you will empty it every 1-2 days. The LED indicator tells you when.

  • Good news β€” you don't need to buy the full S1. The S1 Dry Flush Adapter Kit converts your existing Cuddy or Cuddy Lite into a sealing toilet. Plug-and-play, no permanent modifications required.

  • The S1 has a built-in backup mode β€” it converts to a standard urine-diverting toilet if you run out of bag liners. You're never left without a working toilet.

Separate. Seal. Go.
This is the S1.
